I am a beauty addict at heart but the pandemic has seen me reduce my urge to splurge on new products and actually try out the things I already have, and really give them a chance to work, before moving on to something new.
I have tried to make the most out of the situation in that I am working to prioritise time for myself, and looking after myself from the inside and out has been a big part of this. I've recognised that I can get into bad habits and get a bit lazy when it comes to my skincare regime or taking supplements to give myself a boost, but I know that these things make me feel better, so consciously I am trying to do better!
I have had a few health issues this year - nothing really serious, but I am being treated for psoriatic arthritis as well as psoriasis now, and have been trying out different medications to find the best course for me. I take regular medicines and as there's been more of a focus on my health and wellbeing, I am keen to take a bit better care of myself.
As part of all of this, I have fallen back in love with the #gifted Lumity products I first tried last year. I never fell out of love, just out of habit! The cleanser is just one of the best I have used and my skin feels so squeaky clean after using it, and the facial oil is a really lovely treat. I must be doing something right, as I was ID'd in the Co-op the other day buying wine!
Take a look at my original review here.
I've also been a fan of Lumity's Morning and Night supplements - which, aside from containing a great combination of ingredients, come in the most beautiful packaging - and you can read my full review here.
But this year, I have tried their new vegan booster supplements, which offer instant benefits.
Lumity has two options to choose from:
- Power On Booster - scientifically calibrated to support balance and contribute to vitality, while supporting your immune health.
- Restful Nights Booster - Delivers reduced tiredness and fatigue, while contributing to a strong nervous system helping you feel comforted and less stressed by life.
Sounds pretty good, right?
For me, the Power On could be very beneficial, as I am rushing around a lot of the time being a full time working mum, but I also take immunosuppressants so giving myself a boost is a really good thing.
I have tried the Restful Nights Booster and it's easy to add into my evening routine; if my two and a half year old were sleeping through every night, more regularly, I might have even more restful sleep!!!
Here's more on the Restful Nights booster supplement I have trialled:
Sleep is the ultimate modern luxury. Restful Nights super booster supplement has been scientifically-calibrated for those who have trouble sleeping when they’re stressed and feel tired all the time as a result.
Stress disrupts sleep, this innovative vegan booster counteracts that with the potent adaptogen Holy Basil, plus Pumpkin Seed Oil, Magnesium, Turmeric and Vitamin D3. Restful Nights also supports the nervous system, allowing you to wake after a good night’s rest feeling deeply replenished and restored.
28 vegan softgel capsules delivered to your door for just £37.00. Take one or two at bedtime on those nights when you need a great night's sleep. Or, if you feel stressed during the day, take one or two. You don't need to take them every single night or day, just during those times when you need an extra boost.
These boosters are scientifically formulated with the highest quality ingredients at potent levels to deliver real results and can be used in conjunction with Lumity's Morning & Night Supplements. During the consumer trial, participants said they saw the benefits of these boosters within the first few days of taking them, so they're well worth trying out.
Which booster do you need the most right now?
