Now I am all for finding beauty bargains and saving pennies where I can, but sometimes in life, you need to indulge and there are things that are worth spending a bit more money on. If they work and you enjoy them, then why not treat yourself? And in the case of Lumity, it was love at first try.

Pretty packaging aside (and who doesn't love a beautiful box?), Lumity is a brand that I hadn't come across before but one that has received rave reviews from celeb and beauty boffin fans alike. This was why I was keen to try a couple of their products out for myself, because I do really enjoy trying something new and being winter (and a tired working mum of two), I need a boost and all the help I can get with my skin.

I have been using two Lumity products for the past five weeks now and I've been getting on with them both, especially the cleaner which I am about to tell you all about...

Lumity 4-in-1 Cleanse is a multi-tasking product that is full of natural ingredients and promises to clean your skin, whether using it every day to melt away make up or leaving it on for a deeper treatment.

At first, it might seem counterproductive to rub a thick, black gel onto your face when you are trying to clean your face. But trust me, this stuff is magical!

The smell is pleasant and the texture is really nice too, but more than that, it feels divine on the skin. As soon as it's applied, by skin feels tingly and warm, and when left on, you can really feel the cleanser working.

Once I wash it away with warm water, my skin feels super clean but pampered, with no tight feeling. Just soft, clear skin.

I have absolutely loved using this and it has lasted well too. Priced at £55 (or £48 on subscription), it is a high end skincare item but I don't want to be without it now that I have used it for a while, I am that impressed.

Once clean, I have been applying the Lumity Skin Nutrients Facial Oil. A couple of drops is all that's needed, before bed and after smoothing night cream on my face, to restore my skin. I do like facial oils and think they're something that everyone should try, as they are the one thing that I believe makes a real visible difference to your skin tone and appearance.

This facial oil has a subtle scent and absorbs well, whilst still feeling like an indulgent treat. My skin has needed a big hydration boost and I find that in the morning, my skin does look fresher and plumper.
