Bold prints for babies from Bonds #review

I love bold colours and I do my best to find different kinds of prints and clothes options for my baby boy as sometimes, the offering for boys can be, well, a bit bland. It's often dominated by baby blue and grey, and cars are the print of the day. I like both, don't get me wrong, but I want a choice of clothes for Sullivan, and think boys should be able to have just as much fun with their outfits as girls (I appreciate that girls clothes are often taken over by a sea of pink and florals, but the wardrobe options are far greater in variety, don't you think?).

Famed for their signature bold designs, Bonds is a baby clothing brand I have recently discovered and I love for the fact it's something that stands out from the crowd.

Their most popular item appears to be the Wondersuit, and I can see why; it's a onesie / sleepsuit with not only fold over mitts, but fold over feet too, and a covered zip all the way up, which makes is both versatile and practical too. We were kindly sent two Wondersuits from the new autumn / winter collection launching in John Lewis, and I was over the moon with the designs. One features a vivid medium blue background with a crocodile dragons and palm print repeated all over in white and lime green, the other is a dusky blue / grey with pandas. The material is super soft and I am really impressed with how well made they are. And I can say they have washed well too - which can be a bug bear with baby clothes, I find.

The other item Bonds is known for is leggings. Now I know how much I love my leggings, so I think for crawling babies, they're just the best thing really. Sullivan has a navy blue pair with an crocodile outline print on, which stretch well and feature a waistband with the Bonds name on - like he's wearing a pair of Calvin Kleins or something!

There's a good selection of Bonds baby clothes available from John Lewis now, but I am really excited for next season's launches, now we've been given a preview. Wondersuits are priced at £20 and leggings at £12, which for good quality items that offer something really special, I think is reasonable and it certainly adds some personality to Sullivan's wardrobe.

I may be biased, but doesn't my boy look beautiful in these bold prints?
