Unpacking the Cosatto Giggle 2 travel system pushchair

Buying a pram is perhaps the most exciting purchase you can make as a parent-to-be, don’t you think?

In the summer, we discovered that the car seat with our old travel system had been rendered unusable due to how much time we'd  been storing it, so I started looking into what’s available and working out which model offers what features etc. It was SO confusing! And the prices can steeply go up and up from brand to brand, add on to add on.

I’ve always liked the look of Cosatto and came across an amazing offer over the Bank Holiday weekend where we ended up getting the WHOLE BUNDLE for the Cosatto Giggle 2 exclusive Mothercare print (chassis, carry cot, pushchair seat with four reclining positions, reversible foot muff, car seat, raincover AND changing bag) for just £445 from Mothercare, whereas it should have been £644 - WITHOUT the car seat!

The print we have is pom-pom trees, with a grey palette and hints of yellow (a fave colour combo of mine), so gender neutral and a tad more understated than some of Cosatto's pushchair designs.

There’s some great offers on Giggle 2 from Cosatto and other shops too, every so often (certain other prints seem to be around £449 at the moment for the bundle), so it is worth looking out for special deals once you have a good idea of what you're looking for. For us, we were keen to get the whole package - not to have to buy the extras like a raincover or footmuff, and the value the bundle offers (even before the big discount we bagged) was really good in my opinion, as it can be such an expensive business.

Just checked and it is currently on offer for £394.90 for the lot - how fantastic is that?!

I am SO happy with our new travel system! It was easy to unbox with no construction needed; it’s easy to put up with a touch of a button and a flick; everything feels sturdy, well made and thought of; it’s light and easy to manoeuvre; we have everything we need and it looks beautiful too.

Highly recommend (this is not an ad!) - we just need a baby so we can actually take it for a spin!
