A Mother's Day wishlist

Sunday will be my fourth Mother's Day, although when Ethan was a bump in my tummy, he managed to still send me some flowers, a teddy and card so really it'll be like my fifth. And to me it may just be another day, another Sunday with my bubs, but is means so much. It sounds silly, but I sometimes still can't believe that I am a mama and having Mother's Day is just a lovely excuse to remember the most important role I have, and enjoy celebrating the special ocassion with my little family.

And, of course, to celebrate the two other mums in my life - my mum, who says she never wants anything for Mother's Day, and my mother-in-law, who says she already has what she needs. Gift buying for others can be tricky, right?!

I've always got my eye on a few things (I can't help it, I love window shopping!) so I thought I'd share a few things on my wishlist right now, as they might inspire a gift idea for you for Mother's Day...

L-R:
Parrot vase, Asda, £10 - Flowers are a mum's best friend and this kitch vase is just too cute if you ask me
Hotel Chocolat monthly subscription, from £9.95 a month - I had a three month subscription gift last year from my in-laws and it was so lovely receiving a treat through the letterbox once a month, as it's not something I would go and do for myself
Lush bath bombs, from around £2.95 each - I'm making a concerted effort to try and 'relax' more so a Lush bath is a great way to do this - every mum loves baths, right?
Pandora mesh bangle, £50 - something that can be cherished and worn always
Mickey Mouse x Cath Kidston losenge leather bag, now £66 - two of my favourite brands, together in a cute bag that's still available and in the sale
Pandora teddy bear charm, £40 - this is TOO CUTE! Perfect for Mother's Day, this is a really sweet charm from a child to their mum
Harry Potter gift edition books, £16.65 from The Wordery, rather than RRP £25 each - in case you didn't know, I am a big Harry Potter fan, and these special gift editions are really lovely to add to a collection. Special or illustrated editions are a great idea for gifts if your mum is a fan of a particular series or author.
Hawkers sunglasses, Frozen Gold Nude One Classics, £27 - Spring is around the corner (!) and a pair of pastel shades is just what you need to make you feel fresh and ready for the new season
Kikki K large leather zipped organsiser, £51 - I love a bit of stationery as much as the next mama, and Kikki K is one of my favourite brands. This compendium organiser is timeless and stylish, and it can be monogrammed for that extra special personal touch, from £6.

Of course, the most important thing for Mother's Day is to spend it with my special little guy and enjoy at least twice the amount of cuddles as normal. But everyone deserves a treat now and then too, so it's nice to treat that special mother figure in your life too to thank them for everything they do and for being there for you.
