Harry Potter haul from Primark

If you've never read my blog or followed me on Instagram before now, you'd be forgiven for not knowing how much of a Harry Potter fan I am. I'm not completely obsessed (although I do have the deathly hallows symbol as part of one of my tattoos), but I am a fan of the books and films, and the whole magic of it all, and seem to have amassed quite the collection of HP related artefacts and accessories.

It all started on my birthday last year, with tickets to visit the studios again and a print from the Pottermore store, and, well, it went from there...

We had a lounge update last year (see part 1 and part 2) with a distinct Harry Potter vibe and I've been picking up bits and pieces here and there from Primark to add to my home and my wardrobe.

Accio more HP goodies please!

I thought I'd share a Harry Potter haul from Primark, as they have been bringing out some great pieces so you can wear a Hogwarts uniform every day or add some finishing magical touches to your home.

I've seen many of these items still in store, so if you jump on your hippogriff, you might find them for yourself...

These ushsions were such a bargain (like £5-6 each) but the potions fairy lights were hard to find - I thought they were a myth but we managed to track down a set

This 'book' is actually a clutch bag - and just £12 too

Why let the sorting hat decide which house you should join? At £8 each, you can be a member of any of the houses, depending on your mood that day

I love these signs and they are a bold, run addition to our lounge
Which way to Hogwarts?

In addition to my Primark haul, and my book collection, there are a few bits I have collected from other places:

There's a series of Harry Potter themed artefacts available from places such as WHSmiths and Forbidden Planet, and I've been picking up these now and then to create this mini collection

Cauldron mug, big enough for soup - this was a present but I've seen these in Next and HMV

Pensieve notebook set, from Foyles

Snape and Doe print, from Pottermore

Are you an HP fan? Do you think there's room in my house for any more themed items?!

Ahh I need the Slytherin jumper!! I know where I'm going on Saturday :D
Fab collection! We're doing a Platform 9 3/4 theme in our hallway. So far we have a cushion, wax seal and metal sign. We also have a Slytherin and Hufflepuff flag. There's no order to it unfortunately so looks a bit of a jumble. We are hoping to get some prints up on the wall soon which will hopefully bring it all together x

  3. It's not to everyone's taste but I like the fun touches here and there. And yes, Primark is great for building on a theme!
