I am a real hoarder when it comes to skincare, make up and hair products (but I am trying to get better!) and enjoy trying out new things. Over the past few weeks, I've been enjoying some new buys and wanted to share them with you in case you might like them too.
1. L'Oreal Pure Clay Detox Wash (£5.99)
I've had one of the masks from this range for a while but needed a new face wash so picked this off. It has a strong but pleasant scent and a little goes a long way, plus my skin looks fresh and feels squeaky clean immediately after using.
2. YSL Touche Eclat Le Teint Foundation (£35)
This one came recommended and I wondered whether it would be worth spending so much money on, but I had some Christmas vouchers left and thought I'd give it a shot. I've been really pleased with this as it covers my skin so well, hiding the red tone and creating a really smooth, creamy base for the rest of my make up. It seems to last pretty well too and the range of tones, for fair lasses like me, was great to see too.
3. Kat Von D - Lock-It Powder Foundation (£27), Studded Kiss Satin Matte Lipstick in Double Dare (£17), and Tattoo Liner in Super Trooper (£16)
I tried the latter over a year ago and really rate it as a smudge-proof liner (although it is a little 'wet', and needs a short while to set properly), and bought it again the other week. I also popped this lovely powder compact in my basket, along with this muted brown/red lipstick shade from the new range (it smells like cookies and is just such a flattering colour).
The mini concealer you can see was a free sample and I have to say, it's pretty amazing. Great range of shades available too.
4. Michael Kors Wanderlust (£46, 30ML)
This was a present from hubs for Christmas and I love the scent for every day wear. It's a romantic perfume, with base notes of sandalwood and a mix of bergamot, mandarin, almond milk, pink pepper and jasmine, making it sensual but not too heavy.
