The build up to Christmas is definitely the best and November was a pretty lovely month for us...
* My blog reached a milestone, turning four at the start of the month, which is quite something and makes me so proud. Since changing jobs earlier in the year, I've been able to do a lot more with it and my hard work has been paying off - so my blog is somewhere I can really enjoy sharing my interests and our family adventures.
* We had an amazing day out at Thomas Land Drayton Manor - it was such a lot of fun, Ethan was a real daredevil on the rides and we packed so much in, it was a great way to start our Christmas countdown
* We've been pretty creative this month and discovered Chalkola chalk markers - and I have a 20% discount voucher for all you lovely readers!
* Ethan's nursery is the smallest room in the house so we decided to move him into the other spare bedroom, as it's much bigger and we decorated it in a dinosaur theme when Ethan was a few months old, to be used as a playroom, so it was ready and waiting for him. He moved in without a hitch and it's great that he has more space now - and even more places to store toys!
* I've been enjoying some truly lovely Stila make up goodness and it really has made such a difference to my routine (post coming soon)
* A year since we first tried potty training, Ethan has been making steady progress and by the end of the month, he'd been to number two at preschool and made it through most days with no accidents, or just a tiny one, so slowly but surely
* I launched my competition to win a bundle of Julia Donaldson's What the Ladybird Heard goodies thanks to Town Hall Birmingham to celebrate their new show starting on 27th December (tickets on sale now - it's running until Sunday 18th December so plenty of time to enter
*...and I've worked with Nomow to help promote their competition to win a £100 Argos voucher, and there's still time to enter as the competition doesn't end until Monday 19th December, so be sure to take a look
* We've been getting ahead with our Christmas shopping and seem to have finished everything by the end of November - just a huge pile of wrapping left...
* If you live in / near the Midlands, don't forget to check out my bumper guide to Santa grottos across the region - many of them tried and tested by us!
