...lifestyle: something for nothing

* Sponsored post

Everyone loves a bargain, right? Something extra we didn't expect, or an offer too good to miss or something for free to try out - all of these things can put a smile on our face and none more so than at this time of year.

I don't know about you, but with my Christmas shopping well underway and plans for the festivities ahead being made, I really am keeping a close eye on the pennies and it really is the case that every little helps.

Taking time and doing some research before purchasing is key for me, particularly at Christmas as I want to make sure we can enjoy lots of fun things over the holiday season - and be able to get through January without feeling too much of a pinch!

Best intentions, and all that... but at least I do try.

That's why I feel quite smug about not just flying through my Christmas shopping, but finding www.gratisfaction.co.uk too. A fab site for the savvy shopper, Gratisfaction is packed full of free stuff. The site searches for the best deals and offers from across the web and brings it all together in one place so you can find the best freebies around.

Having had a really good look around, there's offers such as a free Lindt chocolate reindeer if you sign up on one site, free Christmas cards available via a Facebook page and all sorts of household item samples going from other retailers if you sign up to newsletters and the like.

I guess there's no such thing as something for nothing theses days really, but from what I can tell, there isn't a lot you need to do to claim the free stuff on offer.

What is particularly great is that YOU can flag any offers you spot to Gratisfaction and you can also cast your vote for the best stuff on the site.

You have to be quick as things will be snapped up and offers will expire, so following Gratisfaction on Twitter could be a great way to keep an eye out for the giveaways you're most interested in.

For the love of freebies, it's well worth checking out.
