Happy 2016

First of all, a very happy new year to you all. If you're reading this on the 1st January, you're either a parent and were tucked up in bed well before midnight last night or you're nursing a hangover and unable to do anything other than scan your phone, stuck to the sofa.

Either way, hello and here's to a great 2016.

So, what do you want from this year?

Health, wealth and happiness? The usual?

Taking a look at my wishes for 2015, and I do think that I achieved quite a few of these but as with most things, I could try a little harder this year. I know what I want and how I want to approach 2016 (more on this tomorrow) so that's half the battle.

If you're looking to get into healthy eating, then great - you're perfect as you are but if losing a few pounds and shaking up your diet will make you feel better, go for it! I'll be joining you. Take a look at Emma over at Life According to Mrs Shilts for some Slimming World inspiration.

If you want to save more pennies, for a big holiday, to pay off some debts or to just make a difference, brilliant - if you have any great tips, do share them as we could all do with a bit more spare change for the fun things in life. Why not take a look at Kerry's 52 week money saving plan.

If you're hoping to expand your brood, good luck! What an exciting year you could have ahead of you. There's lots of lovely, expectant blogger mamas out there, like Katie at Mummy Daddy Me and Charlotte at Write Like No-one's Watching to mention just two, and I for one will continue enjoying watching their journeys.

If you want to say yes more, believe in yourself and achieve some goals, be it a new job, challenge, home or whatever, may this be your year. For some positive inspiration and personal affirmations, be sure to check out Pouting in Heels.

And, if you just want to do your best, enjoy your family and take whatever 2016 has to throw at you on the chin, well that's just fine too. A trip over to Brummy Mummy of 2's blog will give you a reason to smile and a comforting arm around your shoulders.

Here's to making 'it'. whatever that may be for you, happen this year.

For a full list of blogs I enjoy reading, visit this post - there's plenty to add and I look forward to finding new people to follow and share with this year too.

    1. You too Kate, and you're welcome. Just read the past post you shared about the question you couldn't answer at first. Brilliant! Will link to it in my post tomorrow as well as something else that you posted a while ago that really struck a chord with me x
