Summer Splashy Fun

Just a quick post to say I hope you're all getting some of this lovely weather and that you get a chance to enjoy it too. Knowing our luck, it won't hold through the weekend but we have been off work this week for some much needed relaxing time at home and so we've been able to make the most of the warmer weather.

Today, we opened up Ethan's new paddling pool, which was a birthday present from Ste's parents.

This is the one, from Early Learning Centre (it currently has £5 off); it's shaped like a whale! It also doubles as a ball pit and doesn't require inflating (brilliant, if you ask me), plus it comes with a 50SPF sun safe canopy.

Ethan couldn't wait to have a splash around, after we warmed the cool water from the hose with some hot water from the kitchen tap to take the edge off.

I joined him on a picnic blanket and just watched as my little fish enjoyed his new paddling pool.
