My pick of the Cath Kidston new season preview

It's a well known fact that I can't resist a Cath Kidston print and I'm always filled with glee to discover new products have dropped.

A preview of the new season prints has been revealed this past week and naturally, a few things have caught my eye.

However, my Cath collection has grown nicely over the past year or so and I need to be a bit more choosy about picking out anything new to add. So, what do you need to know about the preview range and what would I buy if I had some pennies to spare?

Well, Autumn/Winter 2015 at Cath seems to take a new spin on some old print favourites and there's a real emphasis on bold colours, with rich blues, ochre yellows and ruby reds dominating the collection so far.

Painted Rose Slub Skirt, £40
Love the bold print and yellow on white look - so fresh and great transitional piece too

There's also a real emphasis on florals, the bolder, the better, so if flower power is your thing, you'll be pretty pleased.

Button Front Viscose Dress in Trailing Rose, £75
Classic shape, so flattering and very ladylike, this is bound to be a popular choice

Dresses are cut in vintage styles and there's a few new handbags and grab totes in the preview so far that are sure to carry you away and into the cooler months (not wishing away Summer at all - if it ever arrives...).

Hampstead Rose Dress with dart front, £65
This would be stunning outfit for a wedding, don't you think? There's another version, with sleeves and pink bow detailing, too

The recycling of old into new is great and it's nice to see familiar designs being given a new lease of life.

Winter Rose Cotton Slub Top, £40
Smart with a skirt or thrown together with jeans and converse, this top looks really modern with the mix of grey and yellow

I like the odd beautiful bloom and I love the Painted Rose and Hampstead Rose prints in particular from the new collection, but to be honest, it's the quirky designs that Cath creates that I really adore so this new take on her past cowboy print is a big favourite of mine and the one thing I definitely want to wear.

Cowboy Pleated Slub Skirt, £55
Too cute, love the vibrant colours against the dark background

I'm keen to see what else is up her sleeve for the new season. As you probably know, the cloud print swept me away at the start of the year and I'd love to see something similar for Autumn, like a leaf print for instance, so I'll be waiting a little longer to see what else there will be on offer.
