Thanks a bunch

Spring has sprung and so have the flowers. We always have a patch of daffodils in our garden that raise their sleepy heads almost the second that March begins and I know when I see them, that they signal the start of the new season.

The warmer season.

Hurray.

Occasionally I might buy some daffodils or tulips to put in a vase at home and bring some of the outdoors in and hubs has also surprised me with a lovely bouquet delivery at work before to mark an anniversary or my first almost-Mother's-Day.

Two years ago, on Mother's Day, I had a bump and that bump would turn into Ethan around six weeks later. Hubs wanted to do something special for me (or rather, bump did) and I was sent a beautiful bunch of flowers and a teddy to work.

It was a wonderful thing to do and something that I will always remember.

And when I think of Mother's Day, I naturally think of flowers. I always like to buy some for my Mum, along with another present or a few other bits and pieces, as she loves the outdoors and likes to fill vases around her home.

This year, I'm actually going to be spending Mother's Day with my Mum, which doesn't usually happen as we live 130 miles apart, so I won't need to arrange a flower delivery in advance like I might usually do.

But if I did, I probably would send her some like these.

These beautiful flowers you see here are from Debenhams Flowers and are part of their stunning Mother's Day flowers, which is an additional collection to their Flowers By Post selection. They were sent to me as a lovely treat, ahead of Mother's Day, as a thoughtful gift (I'm sure if Ethan could navigate online shopping, he would have selected a bunch just like these for me himself).

There's such a nice selection of bouquets to choose from and at a good range of prices too from £18.99 upwards, to suit both taste and budget.

My bouquet is called Designer Elle (£54.99) and it's described as 'Spring at its best with scented white lilac, luxury sweet avalanche roses and pink scented oriental lilies'. The roses are really beautiful with delicate petals and the scent this has given from where it's displayed, once the lilies bloomed around two days later, is delightful.

I took this photo. I'm so proud of it.

These flowers really made my day - well, more than that, as they're guaranteed fresh for at least seven days - and if you want to make your Mum's day next Sunday, then I have a special gift for you.

If you fancy ordering some flowers from Debenhams and their Mother's Day flowers, you will receive a rather fabulous 25% off if you use this special discount code: DFBLOG25

Just order your flower delivery by 4pm on Saturday 14th March 2015 for delivery on Mother's Day.

So, you can make mum's day and get a little bargain along the way too.

What a great way to say thanks a bunch.
