My #nomirrormakeup challenge video

I love make up... but how good am I at putting it on without looking?

Well, today you can find out!

My blogger friend Charlotte at Write Like No-one's Watching tagged me in a fun new challenge which is raising awareness for Henshaws Society for Blind People and their Bright For Sight campaign to help those who are visually-impaired.

To help raise funds, the #nomirrormakeup challenge has begin, where you have to try and put your make up on without looking. It's a fun idea with a serious message so something I was really keen to try out.

And this morning, I gave it a go and recorded a video of my progress and the somewhat shaky results. So, putting a spin on the make up tutorial, here's a guide to my daily beauty routine, the products I'm currently using and loving... and the results of my #nomirrormakeup challenge for a very worthy cause:

I'd like to tag you all to do it too - honestly, it's rather fun! You don't need to make a video, you could just take some photos and share them with your friends and family.

Here's what to do:

  1. Just take the #NoMirrorMakeup challenge
  2. Post your #NoMirrorMakeup selfie on social media with the hashtag.
  3. Tag your friends and family to do the same.
  4. And give what you can by texting HSBP14 to 70070.

  1. I don't think you know how touched I am that you did this. Thank you so much Kelly. Also hate you a bit because you're WAY better at it than me. xx

    1. Aww, I was happy to get involved and it was really fun! Luckily I'm at home today with Ethan, which helps with the wonky eyeliner, but I was quite surprised how ok I was at doing it without a mirror! X

  2. You did so well, especially with the eyeliner! I know if I did mine, I'd probably end up with flicks up to my eyebrows, haha. Such a brilliant cause too, well done!
