Happy first birthday To Become Mum!

One year ago today, I created this blog. To Become Mum began as my online diary for friends and family, most of which live at least 100 miles away, to keep up to date with my journey into mummyhood.

This time last year I was expecting Ethan, although at the time, he was affectionately know as little bean. I thought a blog would be a great way to document my pregnancy and when bean arrived, I realised it could be so much more than that.

My first post was a simple 'hello', followed by a post sharing how we found out we were going to me a mummy and daddy, and then we introduced little bean for the very first time.

Through this blog and Twitter, I've made so many mummy friends and although we've never met, it's nice to know they're always there. Since the end of June this year, I've invested a lot more time and energy in To Become Mum because I want to share what's going on in my life and the things I find useful along the way with other mum's as nothing can beat personal experiences.

Thank you to anyone who has read my blog over the past 12 months. It means a lot and I hope that To Become Mum continues to grow over the next year ahead - I'm having a lot of fun!

    1. Thank you! It is very strange reading those first posts - it does feel like a lifetime ago! It's weird as I feel that this blog is still new as I've only been able to get going with it since having Ethan. Thank you for reading and all your lovely comments :)

    1. It's mad isn't it?! It's strange as when I set it up, it really was just for friends and family but since this summer, I've really tried to build it up (inspired by lovely ladies like you) and blogging means a lot to me. Thank you for all your support, here's to the next year! Xx
